Ammon News - Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply, Youssef Shamali, decided to cancel setting the price ceilings for fresh chicken sold to restaurants and hotels.
According to the decision, this material will be subject to supply and demand as of July 15, 2024, provided that the ministry continues to monitor the prices of this material in the local market and take the appropriate reading in the event that it becomes clear that there is an exaggeration or an unjustified increase in prices.
Shamali had decided to set price ceilings for fresh chicken, effective May 6, at JD2,20 for the consumer and JD2,05 for the wholesale.
