Ammon News - The effects of the hot air mass are still being felt throughout the Kingdom on Friday.
Maximum temperatures are predicted to be recorded higher than their average by roughly two to three degrees Celsius, with most regions experiencing hot weather and the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Gulf of Aqaba experiencing extremely hot conditions.
Winds will be northwesterly moderate, picking up at times.
The Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) issues a report in which it cautions against leaving children in closed vehicles due to the high temperatures, which increase the risk of forest fires breaking out. It also warns against the dangers of exposure to direct sunlight and the occurrence of dehydration, especially for the sick and elderly during peak times.
Temperatures in the capital Amman will range between a high of 34 degrees Celsius and a low of 23 degrees.
Highs in the port city of Aqaba will reach 44 degrees during the day, sliding to 28 degrees at night.Petra
