Ammon News - Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs and Minister of State for Public Sector Modernization Nasser Shraida, said that the new human resources system for public sector employees is an essential lever for developing performance, raising salary competitiveness, and attracting talent.
During a press conference on Wednesday, Shraida added that the leave without pay was not cancelled, but was reorganized to a maximum of 4 months per year and 12 months during the entire period of service.
Shraida revealed that there are at least 13,000 employees out of about 220,000 employees who have leave without pay, in addition to the fact that there are 8,000 of those on leave without pay whose leave is to work inside or outside Jordan, and some of them are over 15-20 years old, which makes it difficult to remain vacant for such periods, and at the same time it can be used to alleviate the problem of unemployment.
