Tourism income declines to JD1.9bln in 5 months

Ammon News - The total tourism income during the first five months of 2024 declined to $2.6 billion, according to data issued by the Central Bank on Jordan (CBJ).

The latest data indicates that tourism income during the first five months reached JD1.9 billion ($2.6 billion), a decrease of 6.5% compared to the same period in 2023.

The decrease was due to a 10% drop in tourist arrivals.
