Najjar told Al-Mamlaka TV channel on Wednesday that the festival will kick off on July 24. The festival was launched for the first time in 1980 at the initiative of Yarmouk University, but it turned into an official festival, and its first session opened in 1981 to be held every summer, and includes artistic, literary and cultural events from all over the world. The ancient city of Jerash is the main site of the festival's artistic and cultural activities, and is about 48 km away from Amman.

Ammon News - Minister of Culture, Head of the Higher Committee of the Jerash Festival for Culture and Arts, Haifa Najjar, confirmed that the 38th session of the Jerash Festival of Culture and Arts will be held this summer.

Najjar told Al-Mamlaka TV channel on Wednesday that the festival will kick off on July 24.
