The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) announced on Monday that the Israeli occupation forced 810,000 Palestinians to forcibly displace from the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip during the past two weeks.
UNRWA wrote on X: "The exodus continues in Gaza. UNRWA estimates over 810,000 people have fled Rafah in the past two weeks."
"Every time families are displaced, their lives are at serious risk. People are forced to leave everything behind looking for safety. But there's no safe zone," it added.
UNRWA also renewed its call for an immediate ceasefire in the GAZA Strip.
Since May 6, the Israeli occupation forces began a ground attack on the east of the city of Rafah, while the next day they occupied the Palestinian side of the Rafah land crossing, stopping the flow of aid and preventing the sick and wounded from leaving the Strip to receive treatment abroad.
