Ammon News - The 33rd Arab Summit will kick off on Thursday in the Bahraini capital, Manama, in light of the continued Israeli occupation aggression against the Gaza Strip for more than seven months, and in light of a number of issues and challenges facing the Arab nation.
His Majesty King Abdullah II heads the Jordanian delegation participating in the 33rd Ordinary Session of the Council of the League of Arab States at the Summit Level
His Majesty will deliver Jordan's address during the summit.
The Jordanian delegation includes Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, Director of the Office of His Majesty Jafar Hassan, and Jordan’s Permanent Representative at the Arab League Amjad Adaileh.
On Wednesday, 8 leaders arrived in the Bahraini capital, Manama, to attend the Summit.
This summit is being held at a critical time for the Arab region, as it comes in light of the escalation of the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip.
