Ammon News - Director General of the Income and Sales Tax Department (ISTD), Hossam Abu Ali, said that the department will begin on Tuesday disbursing income tax refunds whose value does not exceed JD200 to those entitled to it.

Abu Ali noted that the department will send text messages to those eligible.

He explained that the value of the refunds disbursed during 2023 amounted to approximately JD90 million, while income tax refunds amounted to approximately JD25 million.

Sales tax refunds amounted to approximately JD65 million.
