Number of arrivals to Jordan via low-cost, regular flights declines by 50%

Ammon News - The first quarter 2024 report of the Executive Program for the Economic Modernization Vision revealed that the number of passengers arriving to Jordan via low-cost and regular flights decreased by 50% compared to the same period in 2023.

According to the report, which Ammon reviewed, the number of arrivals via low-cost and regular flights reached 74,400 passengers, on board 625 aircraft.

The number of international visitors during the first quarter of 2024 decreased by 10% compared to the same period in 2023, reaching 1.33 million visitors, while international visitors until last February spent JD782.6 million, a decrease of 4% compared to the same period in 2023.

Sales of the "Jordan Pass" ticket during the first quarter of 2024 decreased by 65% compared to the same period in 2023, reaching 35,000 tickets.
