Ammon News - In a video going viral on social media, a thief was seen disguising himself as a garbage bag to steal a package. Shared on Instagram, the post describes how the thief, disguising himself in a garbage bag, tried to slowly make his way to the porch and steal someone’s package.

His antics were captured on the surveillance camera, installed on the porch, and later retrieved by the homeowner.

In the video, one can spot the very usual-looking garbage bag lying in front of the house. However, things get interesting when the bag starts moving. As the video progresses, one can see the thief sneaking toward the package lying on the porch and grabbing it before running away, without giving away his disguise.

The house owner, while speaking to ABC10, shared his reaction after seeing the incident on his surveillance system. “You see the bag coming to my door. At first, I thought they were messing with me. I was angry because it (the package) was something I was expecting,” he said, further adding that he eventually found it funny.

“I take everything in a good way because that’s part of life. If you see the bad way of everything, you’re going nowhere,” he added.

Meanwhile, the video has sparked a lot of reactions on the internet, as social media users were left divided over the thief’s hilarious trick. A user posted, “Well at least they know what they are,” while another one commented, “This something out of a movie.”

“What a perfect uniform,” another Instagram user commented. A user, while praising his idea, wrote, “Gotta give it to him, that’s a pretty genius move.”
