Ammon News - Energy expert Hashem Akel revealed on Thursday that the rate of wasted fuel in Jordan reached 24%.

Akel told Radio Noon that gasoline wastage is the amount of gasoline that is used unproductively, such as starting the vehicle and leaving to an unknown destination without specifying a goal.

Large number of citizens, especially young people, go out in their vehicles on the streets and roads just for the sake of going out and without specifying a specific destination, just in search of driving enjoyment, he added.
