National football team faces Pakistan in 2026 World Cup qualifiers

Ammon News - The Jordanian national football team will face on Tuesday its Pakistani counterpart, at the Amman International Stadium at 10:00 pm, in the fourth round of Group 7 competitions in the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.

The national team, which has 4 points, is playing in Group 7, which is currently led by the Saudi team with 9 points, then the Tajikistan team with 4 points, ahead of our team on goal difference, while the Pakistan team occupies 4th and last place with no points.

The team will conclude the first round of the qualifiers next June with two matches against the national teams of Saudi Arabia and Tajikistan.

The top two in the group qualify for the second round of the World Cup qualifiers.
