Israeli occupation approves 3,500 new settlement units in West Bank

Ammon News - The Supreme Planning Council approved Wednesday morning the construction of some 3,500 new settlement units in the various settlements located on the lands of Palestinian citizens in the West Bank.

The Times of Israel newspaper said that the settlements are planned for the large settlements of Maale Adumim and Efrat and the smaller one of Kedar, according to statements from settlement leaders as well as ministers Bezalel Smotrich and Orit Strock.

In a tweet, Smotrich declares that 18,515 settlements have been approved in the West Bank over the past year, a record, according to the Times of Israel.
