Ammon News - * 65.9% of the Jordanian population uses Facebook

* 7.2 million Facebook users in Jordan

* 1.7 million LinkedIn users, most of whom are between 25-34 years old

Ammon news -Iyas Maayah- The number of users of the Facebook application in Jordan by the end of January 2024 reached about 7.213 million users, representing 65.9% of the Kingdom’s population, according to NapoleonCat website.

Males accounted for the largest share of the number of Facebook users in Jordan, at 53.7%, according to data issued by the website and reviewed by Ammon.

While people between the ages of 25-34 were the largest group of users, with 2.4 million users.

As for Messenger users in Jordan, they reached about 5.77 million users in January 2024, representing 51.9% of the total population, and most of them are also male, accounting for 56.7% of the number of users.

NapoleonCat also revealed that the number of users of the Instagram application in Jordan reached 3.948 million users in January 2024, representing 36.1% of the population, and the majority of them were women, concentrated in the age group of 18-24 years.

As for the LinkedIn application, the number of its users in Jordan reached 1.667 million users, representing 15.2% of the total population, and the highest age group that uses this application in Jordan is between 25-34 years.

Jordanians consumed about 497 million gigabytes through mobile broadband services by the end of the third quarter in 2023, according to the latest data issued by the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (TRC).
