Jordanian tourism departures rise 17.6% in January

Ammon News - The number of Jordanians leaving the country for tourism purposes in January 2024 reached 164,642 thousand Jordanians, and increase of 17.6% compared to the same month in 2023.

According to official preliminary figures, the total number of Jordanians leaving during January 2023 reached 140,054 thousand Jordanians, Al Mamlaka TV reported.

The Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ) had previously said that tourism income during January 2024 achieved a growth of 0.4%, compared to the same month in 2023, to reach JD392.9 million.
