Ammon news -Ahmad Alhyari- The system for monitoring government performance and achievement of the Economic Modernization Vision revealed that 74.5% of the projects included within the executive programs of the Economic Modernization Vision, for the years 2023-2025, are still under implementation, with 383 projects.
The percentage of late projects included in the vision plans amounted to 5.6% with 29 projects, and projects on which work had not begun was 4.5%, with 23 projects, out of the total projects proposed for the period 2023-2025, the system stated, according to the latest data update on Thursday.
The system also revealed that 15.4% of the total projects out of 514 projects had been completed, so that the projects were increased during the annual review process of the program at the end of 2023.
The annual report of the Economic Modernization Vision for 2023, which Ammon reviewed, showed that 78 priorities had been accomplished out of 97 priorities planned for completion in 2023, with an achievement rate reaching 82%.
As for the projects delayed in 2023, which are 19 priorities, the annual book indicated that they would be completed in the first quarter of 2024.
It is noteworthy that the percentage of delayed projects and the percentage of projects that have not been implemented, in addition to the projects under implementation, are concentrated in the growth engine "quality of life."
The government allocated JD734 million to the executive program for the Economic Modernization Vision in 2024, according to the indicative cost of the program.
The draft general budget law for the fiscal year 2024 included the allocation of JD349 million from the budget of ministries and government departments, and JD135 million from the budget of government units and self-financing, for the executive program for the Economic Modernization Vision.
According to the indicative cost of the executive program for the Economic Modernization Vision, foreign aid worth JD250 million was allocated to the program, bringing the total allocated to JD734 million.
The executive program for the years (2023-2025) for the Economic Modernization Vision is a government commitment to implement the Economic Modernization Vision as a key pillar in the comprehensive modernization project, led by His Majesty King Abdullah, with its three political, economic and administrative phases.
