Ammon News - Finance Minister Mohammed Issis participates on Sunday in the 8th Public Finance Forum in the Arab Countries, which is organized by the Arab Monetary Fund (AMF) in cooperation with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in the United Arab Emirates.
The forum on Sunday is titled “Designing more efficient fiscal policies to address debt-related challenges and future financial issues in light of more stringent financing constraints: the role of subsidies, tax administration, and reforms of public sector institutions.”
The forum was opened by the UAE Minister of State for Financial Affairs, Mohamed AlHussaini, the Director General Chairman of the Board, Arab Monetary Fund, Dr. Fahad AlTurki, and the Managing Director, International Monetary Fund, Kristalina Georgieva, in the presence and participation of Arab finance ministers, governors of central banks and Arab monetary institutions, in addition to a number from heads and senior officials and experts from international and regional financial institutions, ministries of finance and central banks in Arab countries.
