In the battle in which Nitzan Shisler was killed, a reserve soldier in the 7155th Battalion was seriously injured, and a fighter in the 603rd Engineering Battalion, Sar Majolan Formation (7), was seriously injured during a battle that took place in the south of the Gaza Strip.
This brings the number of Israeli army deaths from October 7 to 523, and to 189 since the start of the ground operation in the Gaza Strip.
