Ammon News - Most areas in the capital, Amman, witnessed fog formation, causing drivers' horizontal visibility to drop from 10 to 20 meters on some roads on Thursday morning, especially the northern and western regions.

Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) warned of the danger of torrents forming in valleys and low-lying areas in the north and center of the Kingdom, including the Dead Sea region, and the danger of slipping on roads in areas that witness rainfall.

The JMD also warned of the danger of low horizontal visibility over mountain highlands and plains due to fog, and the danger of low horizontal visibility due to dust in desert areas.

It reiterated the necessity of driving at a speed commensurate with the prevailing weather conditions and road conditions.
