28-12-2023 10:53 AM

Ammon News - Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply, Youssef Shamali, decided to ban the export and re-export of some goods.

According to the government decision, which Ammon received a copy of it, the ban includes rice, sugar, and vegetable oils (corn oil, sunflower oil, palm oil, and soybean oil).

Food Security Council recommended last Sunday to prevent the re-export of basic materials (rice, sugar, and oils) as a result of the high shipping costs resulting from the crisis in the Red Sea.
