Ammon News - The Israeli occupation police claimed to thwart a drug smuggling operation by two Palestinian women through the King Hussein Bridge Border Crossing (Al Karama Crossing), Hebrew media reported.
During the routine inspection conducted by security inspectors at the crossing, an unusual result emerged during the examination of two female passengers who arrived from Jordan, Hebrew media said.
The customs inspectors in the occupation police found bags containing Captagon-type narcotic pills with a total weight of about 4 kg.
The police arrested the two women, and investigations will continue.
