Ammon News - Ziad Nawaf Al-Dwairi, professor and consultant of Restorative Dentistry at Jordan University of Science and Technology and Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry at the Hashemite University, was awarded the Fellowship of the Faculty of Dentistry of RCSI in recognition for his teaching, research and clinical experience in dental education and training locally and internationally.

Dr. Al-Dwairi holds a PhD in Restorative Dentistry from Queen's University Belfast/UK in addition to fellowships from the Royal Colleges of Surgeons of London, Edinburgh and Glasgow, fellowships of faculty of dental trainers - Edinburgh, the International Academy of Dental Facial Esthetics/USA, American College of Dentists, Academy of Dentistry International, International College of Dentists and many more from international academic institutions

Dr. Al-Dwairi is also a recipient of many international awards in dentistry and represents Jordan at the International Organization for Safety and Prevention OSAP/ USA and works as the head of the health sector at the Union of Arab academics and scientists and as associate editor of BMC Oral Health. He is a member of the editorial and review boards of many international high impact dental journals. He was a member of the International Advisory board of dental ethics manual published by the World Dental Federation (FDI)and translated it into Arabic. He is a Founding member of the Jordan section of the International Association for Dental Research for Research Dentistry (IADR)
