Ammon News - Jordan Customs Department media spokesperson stated that the department personnel at the Jabir Border Center, in cooperation with the security services, thwarted an attempt to smuggle 565,000 pills of the narcotic Captagon.

Based on intelligence information, the truck was targeted and searched thoroughly, he said, adding that the sized items were found tightly hidden inside the floor of the truck in a place specially prepared this purpose.

The seized items were handed over to the competent security services, to take the necessary legal measures, the spokesperson said.
