Ammon News - Nine Palestinians were killed today and at least 15 others were injured, according to the Ministry of Health, in an Israeli army assault on Jenin refugee camp in the north of the West Bank.
WAFA correspondent said a large army force, accompanied by a bulldozer, stormed Jenin refugee camp as snipers occupied rooftops and the bulldozer proceeded to destroy the roads and infrastructure.
Clashes broke out, said the correspondent, during which the Israeli occupation forces opened live fire at the Palestinians and fired a missile into a group of people in the camp killing nine and injuring 15 others, including a paramedic.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said the occupation forces targeted an ambulance in Jenin and injured one of its officers with a bullet in the back while preventing medical teams from entering the camp to reach the injured.
Reinforcements of the occupying forces continue to arrive in Jenin and its refugee camp amid the intensive presence of Israeli aircraft flying over the city and the camp.
