Ammon News - Prime Minister Dr. Bishr Khasawneh held a meeting on Monday in the House of Representatives with the President and members of the Permanent Bureau and the heads of parliamentary blocs and committees, to discuss Jordan's efforts, led by His Majesty King Abdullah II, to stop the aggression against Gaza and deliver humanitarian aid in a sustainable manner.

All options are on the table for Jordan in dealing with the Israeli aggression on Gaza and its repercussions, the Prime Minister stressed.

Any attempts or creating conditions to displace Palestinians from Gaza or the West Bank is a red line and Jordan will consider it as a “declaration of war,” he stressed.

Khasawneh also stated that the continuation of the aggression against the Gaza Strip, with all its crimes, constitutes a flagrant violation of international law and international humanitarian law.

"The impunity and protection that gives Israel a license to kill Palestinian civilians must be stopped. International humanitarian law prohibits and criminalizes targeting and killing civilians without exception," PM said.

We all stand United behind His Majesty the King in his honorable stance in supporting the Palestinian cause and halting the aggression on Gaza, He stressed.

He pointed out that Israel's immunity and silence regarding its violations against Palestinian civilians constitute a double standard

Since the first day of the war on Gaza, Jordan, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, has been making efforts to stop this war and allow the delivery of humanitarian aid to our people in the Gaza Strip, Khasawneh said.

He also saluted the fearless members of the armed forces for their efforts in bringing medical aid to the Jordanian field hospital in Gaza at dawn on Monday, to sustain the hospital’s ongoing efforts to provide medical assistance to our Palestinian brothers.
