Ammon News - The Israeli occupation army announced on Monday that it was carrying out a large ground operation in the Gaza Strip, indicating that clashes were taking place with Palestinian resistance fighters.

The army is carrying out an attack with armored vehicles, adding that the operations will deepen inside the Gaza Strip, the Israeli military spokesman said in a press briefing.

Palestinian media sources said that Israeli tanks penetrated towards Salah al-Din Street.

The Israeli occupation forces penetrated a distance of about 3 kilometers from the border fence and reached Salah al-Din Street, which is the main road linking the northern and southern Gaza Strip, and the Palestinian resistance clashed with the invading forces.
