21-10-2023 09:59 AM

Ammon News -

The humanitarian aid and relief trucks began on Saturday entering the Rafah crossing into the Gaza Strip.

The trucks moved on their way to Gaza, after crossing the Rafah crossing, while hundreds of trucks loaded with food and medical aid were waiting in front of the crossing, preparing to enter the Strip after the arrival of much aid, whether Egyptian or Arab.

The Egyptian authorities have paved the way for aid to enter through the Rafah crossing, most of which is concentrated on medical equipment needed for the Gaza Strip.

The process of trucks entering the Gaza Strip will be under Israeli-American-Egyptian supervision and control, Israeli media said.

The US Embassy in Israel announced on Saturday morning that it had received information according to which the Rafah crossing connecting the Gaza Strip with Egypt will open at 10:00 a.m.

According to the embassy's statement, it is not yet clear how long foreign citizens will be able to leave the Strip.
