40 suffocation cases at Karima Secondary School

Ammon News - 40 students experienced symptoms of suffocation after inhaling an insecticide near Karima Secondary School in the northern Jordan Valley.

Head of the nursing department in the emergency department at Abu Ubaida al-Jarrah Hospital, Asmaa Abu Qaran, told Ammon that the majority of the cases involved fear, a rapid heartbeat, and vomiting as a consequence of the incident.

The health status of the injured individuals is relatively minor, and under control.
