Ammon News - Iraqi oil exports to Jordan amounted to about 450,000 barrels in September, compared to 464,000 barrels in August, according to data issued by Iraq's State Oil Marketing Organization (SOMO).
The data showed that Iraqi oil exports to Jordan increased by 15,000 barrels per day as of August after the two countries announced this last May.
The initial weighted average selling price to Jordan in September was $78 per barrel.
The quantities of Iraqi crude oil discharged from the Kirkuk fields/Iraq into the tanks of the Jordan Petroleum Refinery Company (JPRC) in May and June amounted to 556,062 thousand barrels, according to a previous statement by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.
This came after the resumption of Iraqi oil imports to Jordan under an agreement between the governments of the two countries last May, under which Jordan imports 10,000 barrels based on the monthly Brent crude rate, minus $16 per barrel to cover the difference in quality and transportation fees.
