Foreign investments in Jordan reach $776 million within 6 months

Ammon News - Total inward foreign direct investment flows into the Kingdom during the second quarter of 2023 amounted to $383.8 million, according to preliminary balance of payments data issued by the Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ).

This means an increase of 85.7%, compared to the corresponding quarter of 2022, driven mainly by reinvested profits and newly registered investments with the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply.

Thus, inward foreign direct investment flows into Jordan during the first half of 2023 amounted to about $776 million, an increase of 20.9% over their level in the corresponding period of 2022.
