Ammon News - Jordan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs confirmed that the Jordanian community members residing in several regions of eastern Libya, which were recently affected by hurricanes and floods, are in good health and unharmed.
Ministry's spokesperson, Ambassador Sinan Majali, told Amen FM on Wednesday that the Operations Center Unit at the Ministry received calls about a loss of communication with a number of members of the Jordanian community in the areas that were recently affected by the hurricane and floods, which led to a disruption of communications in those areas, resulting in a state of anxiety among their families.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, within the means available, checked on the names and citizens who were provided to the Ministry, as the Ministry was able, late Tuesday evening, to reassure their families in Jordan, and they are all fine, he added.
The Jordanian community in Morocco, which was exposed to earthquakes, is also fine, Majali noted.
