Ambassador Al-Sudairi affirmed during the meeting the Kingdom's keenness on the need to enable UNRWA to assume its social responsibilities towards the Palestinian refugees, and its political and legal responsibilities by securing their rights and the hosting-countries rights. He praised the efforts of Lazzarini and UNRWA in supporting the Palestinians and alleviating their suffering. In turn, UNRWA's Commissioner-General appreciated the Kingdom's role in supporting the work and efforts of UNRWA to care for Palestinian refugees.
