Senate returns Personal Data Protection Bill to Services Committee

Ammon News - The Senate in its session on Wednesday, returned the draft personal data protection law for the year 2023 to the Services Committee, for more interaction and constructive dialogue regarding the project.

Prime Minister Dr. Bishr Khasawneh supported the draft law return to the Services Committee in the Senate, with the aim of improving it.

The existence of legislation controlling personal data is essential to Jordan's classification in this regard and to encourage investment, PM added.

The Chairman of the Services Committee in the Senate, Mustafa Hamarneh, supported returning the draft law to the committee, this came during the Senate’s discussion session of the draft personal data protection law for the year 2023.
