According to the JMD report, a slight drop in temperature is forecast on Sunday, as generally hot weather prevails nationwide. On Monday, a slight increase in mercury is anticipated and the weather will be hot over the hilltops and plains, and sizzling conditions hit the Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba. Today, mercury in the capital Amman will hit a high of 39 degrees Celsius and a low of 21C, while the port city of Aqaba will see a sweltering 42C, sliding to 29C at night.
