Ammon News - U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris on Tuesday mourned the death of Clarence Avant, a longtime Hollywood insider whose work as a record executive, promoter, mentor and dealmaker earned him the moniker “the Godfather of Black music”.
"Clarence Avant was a legend. From the music industry to the civil rights movement, he brought people together so we could all move forward," Harris wrote on Twitter (now known as X).
