Ammon News - Interior Minister Mazen Faraya said, Saturday, that 55,000 Syrians visited Jordan for tourism, whether they were coming from Syria or from Europe, after Jordan granted facilities to them.
"Jordan has facilitated a lot of its entry procedures, and part of it is related to the Syrians who are outside Jordan and settled outside it, as they were allowed to enter Jordan to see their families, in addition to opening an area for tourist groups", Faraya noted during a meeting with a group of businessmen to talk about the role of the Interior Ministry in serving investors.
Faraya added that with the progress of time, investors and citizens will see an improvement in the level of services, pointing out that the Interior Ministry is sovereign, as it allows and prevents people from entering Jordan.
The Interior Ministry seeks to enter the largest number of people into Jordan while preserving national security, Faraya said, pointing out that the ministry grants an e-visa "online" for five years and multiple travels, and its owner can visit Jordan whenever he wants.
