For first time, Hiba Tawaji, Musical Director Oussama Rahabani to take stage at Petra

Ammon News - Hiba Tawaji accompanied with The Musical Director Oussama Rahabani are set to take the stage at the Petra Cultural Village on August 25th, 2023. The venue promises to provide a stunning backdrop to an evening of powerful tunes by the popular artist.

Hiba Tawaji is a Lebanese singer, actress, and director. Since 2008, she established herself in the Lebanese and Arab music scene as a major artist recognized for her vocal skills. She started her career playing the main female role in well-known Rahbani musicals.
Tawaji, a renowned Lebanese singer, actor and director with a career spanning 14 years, has performed in leading venues around the world, and has a huge regional and international fan base.

As a singer, actress, and director, Hiba Tawaji continues to captivate audiences with her powerful voice and presence. She has starred in blockbuster musicals in the Middle East created by the renowned Rahbani family, musical pioneers in the Arab World. Among various collaborations, she has performed live with Andrea Bocelli. Her career has gained acclaim from critics globally. She has performed on the most prestigious stages and festivals in the Arab World.

Oussama Al Rahbani the Lebanese musician and composer and the son of the Lebanese composer, musician and poet Mansour Rahbani. Hisremarkable journey started with his contribution to the musicals by Mansour Rahbani (The Will - Al Wassieh). In 1997, he worked with his father in the play (The Last Days of Socrates), as a composer and arranger. Produced and prepared the musical (and performed on the third day) and in the music of Al-Mutanabbi's play.

Petra Development and Tourism Region Authority and the Jordan Tourism Board in collaboration with Friends of Jordan Festivals are proud to present “Rose City Nights” - a series of cultural and musical performances throughout the entire year at Petra Cultural Village.

Organized by Friends of Jordan Festivals, who have conceptualized an engaging calendar for 2023, bringing to Jordan several world class acts, accompanied by prestigious Jordanian and classical musicians, providing an unforgettable experience to an enthralled audience from across the country and region. The intention is to celebrate the sights and sounds of Jordan, packaged as an immersive entertainment experience, while branding Jordan as a world class tourist, cultural and economic destination. Through the planning, design and execution of the projects the aim is to support local communities and revive economies by creating job opportunities in event locations and their surrounding areas.

This event is in collaboration with Greater Amman Municipality, and Jett, Jordan Radio and Television Corporation, Roya TV and Radio Hala and Mazaj FM as media partners, with Royal Jordanian as the official carrier.
