Ammon News - The total value of certificates of origin issued by the Irbid Chamber of Industry (ICI) for July 2023 increased by 3 percent to $124 million compared to $120 million for the same month of last year.

Exports of Al-Hassan Industrial Estate accounted for $118 million of the total volume of Irbid governorate exports, while Cyber City exported $5.5 million, as the rest of the exports were distributed to different regions in the governorate.

According to the Chairman of ICI, Hani Abu Hassan, the knitting and leather sector remained the top exporter in the industrial sector, with exports worth $116 million in the last month. This was followed by the medical industries and supplies sector, with exports worth $2.3 million, and the catering sector with exports worth $1.8 million.

Hassan indicated that the rest of the exports were distributed to plastic, rubber, packaging, cardboard, mining, and construction industries.
