Ammon News - The security forces arrested Monday a man suspected of killing a gas station worker in Amman and robbing JOD51,000.

A team was formed by the Preventive Security and Criminal Investigation Department and the North Amman Police to follow up on the killing and robbery of the gas station worker, arresting the lead suspect within hours of the report, according to a Public Security Directorate (PSD) statement.

The police were informed Sunday that a gas station worker in the Al Hashimi area was assaulted by an unknown person with a sharp object and was robbed.

The victim was pronounced dead soon after he was admitted to the hospital.

The suspect admitted that he had previously worked at the gas station and had planned the assault and robbery while the employee was transferring the money.
