Ammon News - Ministry of Energy and Minerals Resources signed Tuesday a memorandum of understanding with an Australian company to explore copper ores in Malacca Valley, south of the Dead Sea.
Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Saleh Kharabsheh, said that the coming period will witness more agreements to explore Potash and Lithium.
The Australian company indicated that its team will begin work to explore copper south of the Dead Sea next week, promising quick results, according to Al Mamlaka TV.
The ministry had started exploration earlier for lithium in the waters of the Dead Sea and the rocks adjacent to it.
