Ammon News - Director of Public Security Directorate (PSD) Maj. Gen. Obaidullah Maaytah, on Monday discussed with Director of the Palestinian Civil Defence (PCD), Maj. Gen. Al-Abd Ibrahim Khalil , and his accompanying delegation, aspects of joint cooperation and coordination in the fields of security and civil protection, and expertise exchange.

Maaytah stressed PSD's keenness to implement Royal directives represented in providing all forms of support and assistance to the PCD and exchange expertise, which would reflect "positively" on providing the "best" comprehensive security and humanitarian services to citizens.

For his part, the Palestinian official lauded the PSD's "distinguished" level in performing its duties and tasks in the field of humanitarian work and civil protection.

Khalil also stressed importance of joint cooperation in building the PCD's capabilities and its impact on provided services.

In the same context, the Palestinian delegation met with director of Jordanian Civil Defense Directorate, and made field tours to Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II Academy of Civil Protection, to learn about its modern plans, curricula, and educational and training specializations that keep pace with the "latest" developments in civil defense and protection fields.
