Ammon News - President Mahmoud Abbas has Wednesday arrived in Jenin in order to check citizens’ conditions and the progress of work in the reconstruction of the camp and the city following the last Israeli aggression.
A number of Palestinian officials, including Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh, received the President upon his arrival to the city.
Abbas arrived via a Jordanian helicopter, which landed at the headquarters of the National Security Command, and then he will head to the Martyrs' Cemetery, and then he will move to the Jenin camp yard.
Preparations for President Abbas's visit have been underway since the morning hours, as the President's guards were deployed in the areas he will visit.
