Ammon News - The UN Security Council will meet behind closed-doors on Friday to discuss the Middle East, diplomats said, following Israel’s biggest West Bank military operation in years.

The meeting was requested by the United Arab Emirates “in light of the alarming developments in Palestine,” diplomats said.

The number of martyrs in the Jenin camp rose to 12, as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression since dawn on Monday, which was described as the largest Israeli military operation in nearly 20 years in the occupied West Bank.
