PSD chief lauds importance of women police role

Ammon News - Jordan's women police represent a "long-standing" history of Jordanian women's capability to carry out their duties in enhancing the Kingdom's security and stability, Director of Public Security Directorate (PSD) Maj. Gen. Obaidullah Maaytah, said.
During his visit on Wednesday to Women Police Command, Maaytah stressed PSD's supports the "vital and important" role of women police in various police-related administrative and operational fields.
Maaytah also pointed to the need to invest these efforts and potentials by implementing organizational and operational plans that achieve PSD's goals in the "best possible" way.
He noted Jordan's women's police were "pioneers" in the security field and set an "exemplary model" to enhance their "distinguished" position at the local and international levels by joining peacekeeping forces and international missions.
Maaytah valued police women's efforts made to serve the Kingdom and citizens and maintain the society's security "efficiently and professionally."
