Ammon News - Jordan is set to experience a range of weather conditions and temperature fluctuations in the coming days, as reported by the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).

On Wednesday, maximum temperatures are predicted to be slightly below average. The mountainous areas and plains will enjoy moderate weather conditions, while the remaining regions can expect relatively hot to hot weather.

Clouds will appear at medium altitudes, and winds will be northwesterly moderate throughout the day. However, in the evening, the winds will become more active, potentially leading to dust storms in the desert areas.

On Thursday, a slight increase in temperatures is anticipated. Most parts of the Kingdom will experience moderate temperatures, while relatively hot conditions are expected in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Clouds will appear at low altitudes in the northern and central parts of the country, and winds will continue to be moderate and northwesterly.

Looking ahead to Friday, mercury levels will rise noticeably. Therefore, the mountainous areas and plains will experience relatively hot weather, while the remaining regions will face hot weather conditions. Clouds will be present at low altitudes, primarily in the northern areas. In the afternoon, the winds will pick up, especially in the eastern parts of the Kingdom, potentially causing dust and reduced visibility.

Today's peak temperatures will be between 29 and 27 degrees Celsius in Amman and various highlands throughout the Kingdom, with lows of 18 or even 16 degrees in the southern highlands at night. The Gulf city of Aqaba will have warmer weather, with highs of 39C and lows of 25C.
