Scattered rain forecast Saturday-JMD

Ammon News - The Kingdom on Saturday will remain under the influence of a weak state of atmospheric instability, as temperatures drop, and the weather will be dusty, especially in the eastern and southeastern regions of the Kingdom and hot in the Badia, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and Aqaba areas, Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.

Scattered rain showers will fall in the Kingdom's eastern regions, which may be accompanied by thunder and sometimes hail, with strong gusts often, the JMD added.

According to the JMD report, temperatures will drop slightly on Sunday, and the weather will be moderate almost countrywide and relatively hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba.

On Monday, quite similar weather will prevail as the day earlier.

As for Tuesday, a slight rise in temperatures will occur, and the weather will be moderate in almost nationwide.

Today, mercury in the capital Amman will range between a high of 29 degrees Celsius and a low of 14C, while the port city of Aqaba will see a sweltering 38C, sliding to 25C at night.
