Jordan's foreign minister meets Higher Institute of National Defence Studies in France delegation

Ammon News - The Foreign Minister of Jordan, Ayman Safadi, held a meeting in Amman Tuesday with a delegation from the Higher Studies Institute of National Defence in France.

Safadi discussed during the meeting the "importance" of cooperation in economic, investment, cultural and defence between France and Jordan, noting the two countries efforts to combat terrorism.

He briefed the delegates about Jordan's efforts to resolve regional crises and uphold security, stability and peace.

He said there is a "necessity" to end the Israeli occupation and realise the two-state solution, adding that the two-state solution "is the only way to achieve a just and comprehensive peace."

On Syria, Safadi highlighted the Arab leadership role in resolving the Syrian crisis and the results of the Jeddah and Amman meetings.

Safadi leveraged the meeting to view political, economic and administrative reforms implemented in the Kingdom.

The delegation included French parliamentarians, military personnel, politicians, journalists, experts, and scholars from the UAE, the US, Italy, Romania, Belgium, Germany and Sweden.
