The PSD explained that the campaign comes as an implementation of Article 38, item 22,36 of the Jordanian Traffic Law No.49 of the year 2008 that anyone who commits violation of driving without using a seatbelt or have children under the age of 10 years in the front seat shall be fined 15 JDs. This campaign includes all vehicles whether civilian or military vehicles.

Ammon News - The Central Traffic Department urges citizens to use the seatbelt to ensure their safety and the safety of their families in conjunction with the beginning of the Public Security Directorate (PSD) campaign starting from Monday.

The PSD explained that the campaign comes as an implementation of Article 38, item 22,36 of the Jordanian Traffic Law No.49 of the year 2008 that anyone who commits violation of driving without using a seatbelt or have children under the age of 10 years in the front seat shall be fined 15 JDs.
