House Foreign Affairs Committee decries attack on Qatari embassy in Khartoum

Ammon News - The Lower House Foreign Affairs Committee condemned the attack on the Qatari embassy building in the Sudanese capital, Khartoum, on Saturday.

In a press statement, the committee's chairman, MP Khaldoun Haina, decried storming and vandalism of the Qatari embassy headquarters, describing this act as a "clear" violation of international law rules.

The committee also expressed its solidarity and support for Qatar, stressing need to adhere to relevant international agreements, especially Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, the statement said.
