Ammon News - Temperatures on Thursday are set to rise by 4-5 degrees above average in most regions, so relatively hot weather is expected to prevail throughout the country, while the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba are forecast to experience particularly high temperatures, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) stated in its update.

Clouds will appear at medium and high altitudes, and winds will be southeasterly moderate to brisk, stirring dust in the Badia and reducing visibility. Therefore, the weather department warned of low visibility and urged people to take extra care when driving on the desert highway.

Mercury levels are expected to drop on Friday and Saturday, so the weather will return to more moderate conditions in most regions, with low-altitude clouds and southwesterly moderate to brisk winds.

Today's peak temperatures will be between 33 and 31 degrees Celsius in Amman and various highlands throughout the Kingdom, with lows of 19 or even 15 degrees in the southern highlands at night. The Gulf city of Aqaba will have warmer weather, with highs of 39C and lows of 25C.
